Sands End Arts & Community Centre Event Spaces
Sands End is a venue that prioritise the mind, body and planet, offering a unique blend of flexible indoor and outdoor spaces designed to inspire and connect that can be hired either separately or together. Options include the Main Hall, Meeting Room and The Lodge, offering a unique and revitalising atmosphere to suit your event’s needs. Together, the various building elements frame a courtyard at the centre of the site which can be used for outside drinks, receptions, break out spaces as well as access to the Walnut Grove, Healing Gardens and onto the parkland for large summer events.

The Main Hall
Featuring sustainably sourced timber & waste based bricks with high-level windows with direct views up towards the trees and sky. It’s the perfect space for larger events such as conferences, receptions, press days or weddings. Can be combined with the grounds for away days and summer parties.
Capacity: 150 seated dinner dance, 230 stand up (300 with cafe)

The Courtyard & Walnut Grove
Adjacent to the Main Hall and Meeting Room, the Courtyard provides an inviting outdoor space for events like drink receptions. It opens onto Walnut Grove, a tree-lined, shaded retreat perfect for outdoor games like pétanque, and the Healing Garden, an ideal setting for wellbeing activities.

The Meeting Room
A bright, airy room, this versatile space serves as an excellent breakout area for the Main Hall, ideal for meetings, workshops and wellbeing activities. It also offers a quiet retreat during corporate events, providing attendees with a serene environment to recharge and reflect.
