“When we share a vision for our client and see the excitement in their eyes when they realise what’s possible, it makes it all worthwhile.”
Gary, founder
For the last 22 years, we’ve been united in the fundamental belief that events matter; they’re how people connect and make sense of their lives.
Even when in-person events weren’t possible, we worked hard to keep those connections going, building a platform to host virtual events for our clients. And now, as our industry recovers, we’re dedicated to sharing our knowledge and experience through our social media, newsletter and Podcast to help other event planners thrive because their success is our success; we’re all in this together.
Are you planning a Corporate or private event? We can help.
Meet the Directors
Hello, I’m Gary, Founder and Director.
Five years working in conceptual New York restaurants, submerged in a culture obsessed with giving the customer what they wanted, helped me realise my purpose; to create something which always delivered service excellence.
Back in the UK, I applied this ethos in London gastropubs, creating the first party rooms and having a great time. But there’re only so many late nights you can take, especially when family means so much to you. So I took my experience and fast-growing reputation for finding unusual event spaces and combined it with my customer-first ethos to set up Evolve Events in 2000.
Even after this time, my love for hosting events hasn’t gone away. You’ll find me on-site at a client event, making sure we’re delivering their vision and dealing with any last-minute complications, so they’re free to experience the joy of their event.
Hello, I’m Anna, Creative Director
With a background in marketing, advertising and branding, I know what it takes to get to the core of what someone is trying to communicate. When a client sees what’s possible, when you’ve stripped back all the layers of what they want, it’s incredible. And we’re able to do this because we take the time to understand our customers – it’s what sets us apart from other event planners and why I developed our unique Event Prescription approach to make it an easier process. Because, after all, like Gary, helping our customers succeed is the most important thing to me.
I’m forever curious and believe passionately in sharing my insight, knowledge and experience to help our customers and the wider events industry.
What makes us different?
Our straightforward Events Prescription approach helps you explore what you want and the endless creative possibilities available to deliver an event that reflects who you are and what you stand for.
Running Kent House Knightsbridge gives us unique insight into what’s possible at a venue and what’s not – learning that we feed back into our bespoke events. Plus, we know how to speak the right language to help you get the most from your venue.
Our long-standing supplier relationships mean we know who works well together; you can be sure you have the best team to bring your vision to life.
And we source all our suppliers responsibly and in line with your values, including diversity and sustainability. For example, working with people who can repurpose event materials and ensure excess food doesn’t go to waste.
We believe in giving back to the community we’re proud to be a part of.
By amplifying the voices that need to be heard and shaping important conversations, for example, through Gatecrasher our podcast, newsletter and social media platform, we’re supporting a full recovery of the industry and enabling those working within it to thrive in the future.
