Virtual venues for events that connect

This year as not everyone will be meeting up in person, we’ve created a range of virtual venues for events, designed to bring teams together and deliver a unique experience for each individual attendee. Our virtual venues are fully immersive settings which bring together interactive features, feel, sound, performance and visuals …. and of course are complimented by tasty food delivered to your home.

Our Christmas virtual venue was an Alpine Lodge, complete with roaring fire whilst guests sheltered from the snow. This venue is still available for hire but, recognising the current need to nuture our wellbeing, we’ve now launched the House of Happiness; a relaxing retreat, where guests can escape the tedium of working from home and meet up with colleagues for uplifting experiences. And because, we’re all desperate to see something new and inspiring we’re shortly to launch the House of Talent, an urban warehouse where young new performers take to the stage presenting shows for every taste.

What to expect inside your virtual venue

Your event will be hosted from our virtual venue where your MD can video greet guests before they go onto explore the hidden rooms where your choice of entertainment or activity will be hosted. There will be chat boxes and interactive features in each of the rooms, plus you’ll be able to virtually meet and video chat with your colleagues at the breakout bar room.

Finding ways to engage guests at a virtual event can be a challenge. Luckily there are plenty of ways to liven up the experience and we’ve teamed up with some of the best in the business to bring your event to life.

Inside your venue you will find a mix of live and pre-recorded workshops, entertainment and master classes. To personalise your event, your experience comes with a huge choice of activities, creating an event tailored to you and your guests, selecting from a whole host of performances, classes, talks and demonstrations. You can pick and mix to suit your goals, duration and budget. Most events last about 90-120 minutes.

A party without cake is just a meeting

American chef Julia Child hit the nail on the head when she said ‘a party without cake is just a meeting’ and let’s face it, we’ve all had enough of tedious zoom meetings over the last year.

That’s why all of our virtual events come with the options of ordering a luxury food & drink hampers to put the celebration into your get together.

We work with leading caterers Caiger & Co to provide a box of goodies, tailored to your requirements, delivered to home. Depending on your event, hampers might include artisan charcuterie and cheese, sourdough twists, white chocolate & lemon thyme shortbread alongside decadent cocktails such as the vodka & sake based Pear & White Tea Fizz.

The virtual Christmas Party created by Evolve Events for Electronic Arts was a great success in every sense of the word!

From the initial discussions with Gary through to the execution, our event was treated in the same away as a live event would have been, and this attention to detail was key to the amazing experience for our guests and the extremely positive feedback I received both during the night, and afterwards.

The visuals and functionality within the venue were impressive, as was the quality of the live entertainment performances. And of course everyone loved receiving a food and party box delivered to their homes (especially the cocktails!)

It’s true to say that I was extremely apprehensive about the pressures of hosting a virtual event, but Gary and his team were exceptional, delivering a truly memorable evening, and I look forward to working with Evolve again in the future.

Evolve Events went above and beyond to create a virtual party especially for us that was fresh and exciting, helping us to connect, motivate and inspire our staff during what have been difficult times for us all.

Before we hosted the event, I was a little skeptical about whether a virtual party would be able to engage and entertain staff, but I was delighted at the solution Evolve delivered.

Our staff loved exploring the immersive environment of the virtual venue. Features like the instant messenger and video chat functions encouraged social interaction and made it seem like a real party.

We also wanted to acknowledge how hard our staff had worked this year while Gary and his team managed to incorporate our award show into the event.

We were able to treat our staff to a personalised hamper of food & drink and other goodies delivered straight to their door for them to enjoy from their homes on the night.

Gary and his team organised a fantastic virtual Christmas party for our agency at very short notice.

Initially, we were apprehensive as we had never done a big virtual event like this before, but the Evolve Events team were excellent at putting our worries at bay, with great communication and commitment from day one. Our staff were able to meet up with each other at the virtual venue for an evening of mind-blowing entertainment, all complete with fancy dress and food sent before the event.
