Culinary innovators Bompas & Parr have conceived an explosion of multi-sensory ice cream experience. Work your way through an infra-red ice cream experiment, a dinner table laden with edible centrepieces, an ‘ice-capade’ Instagram station and a garnish station, complete with a sprinkle mountain.
Cherry Blossom Pop Up
Its cherry blossom season and the blooms are returning to ROKA Charlotte Street. Experience Hanami, the Japanese tradition of flower viewing and bask in the beauty of flowers whilst sipping on the sakura-inspired cocktails. Expect to see your Instagram feed filled with these gorgeous blooms over the next six weeks.
Pergola comes to Paddington
Pergola on the Roof, in White City, become a favourite summertime destination last year. Now a sister site is launching, set over two floors overlooking Paddington basin, with the capacity to host up to 850 people for lunch, dinner and drinks, it will become west London’s largest alfresco drinking and dining space.
An awfully big adventure
This Summer escape the city into a Peter Pan themed space, with a Lost Boys Hideout Bar, a Pirate Ship and more. Hosted by the Queen of Hoxton, this rooftop bar offers the perfect theme for for all you lost boys and girls out there in one of the best outdoor spaces in the city.

Giant art installation
Turner Prize-nominated artist Mach will be creating one of his gargantuan newspaper installations. For the exhibition, the artist will construct an installation featuring 30-tonnes of newspaper. It will be designed to look like a wave of paper, exploding through one of the gallery walls.
Model Market, by Street Feast (also behind Dalston Yard, Dinerama and Hawker House), is returning to Lewisham in a disused 1950s shopping centre for a third consecutive year, offering its signature mix of food, booze and good time vibes with the best in street food.
Life changing gin
We’ll admit we don’t need much encouragement to drink gin so when One Gin launched their own gin with all profits going towards life-changing water projects in the world’s poorest communities we found the perfect excuse to purchase another bottle.
Opening for the summer months is the beautiful terrace of Lowndes who this year have teamed up with Bombay Sapphire to offer a gin based cocktail menu. This image is taken from their terrace last year and for 2017 they are promising even more floral design. Al fresco at its best.
