We’ve been fortunate that in the last few years RSM has entrusted us to work alongside their events team on their annual global conference working in London, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Washington DC, Beijing and for 2017, the RSM Global Conference in Berlin. This year the theme was ‘No Limits’: can an event company have a better brief?!
Working with the event team at RSM on a three-day conference we helped take the venue from a working conference space with our bespoke set in the day to a Night At The Opera celebration space for the gala dinner on the final evening. With a turnaround of 90 minutes to completely transform the venue, it’s fair to say that our limits were also put to the test.

This year, to compliment the ‘No Limits’ theme, a bespoke registration area was created allowing the RSM brand to be fully utilised using walls, columns and various types of digital displays.
Thanks to RSM, guests could test themselves on an F1 simulator against each other which certainly challenged their driving skills. With the closing speaker, Stig from Top Gear (yes, the real one with his identity clearly revealed!) naturally being the fastest around the track. Other entertainment treats for the delegates included a rapper and street dancers to open the conference, inspirational speakers and a 7-piece orchestra along with singing waiters to help boost delegate engagement and energy levels.
For the RSM Global Conference 2017, 310 delegates were welcomed from 80 different countries. Producing a global conference in a different country always provides a few challenges. We were delighted with the feedback from RSM that the conference exceeded their expectations – is there any better feedback for an event team to hear? We left Berlin on a complete high, having thoroughly enjoyed the conference, catching up with familiar RSM faces and falling for the charms of Berlin.
