We’ve long been fans of Gingerline’s immersive dinner parties so we’re delighted that the creative team behind the sets have turned their energies to opening a restaurant and ‘house party’ venue in central London. Harriet Darling and Elise Edge have a background in experimental performance art and theatrical set design and are known for creating spaces that are exciting, unexpected and above all beautiful so you know the know the the interiors of Hello Darling are going to be special.
Hello Darling is in equal parts an intimate supper-club and cocktail bar serving up an eclectic mix of seasonal sharing dishes by Masterchef 2013 winner Natalie Coleman, alongside killer botanical cocktails. It’s a space for your special celebrations, a quick bite before a show or a tipple into the moonlight hours.
Upstairs over two floors behind a hidden entrance you’ll discover a secret immersive space, consisting of six rooms laid out like the most artistic and wonderful Waterloo flat, with an opulent kitchen, a seductive bedroom, an enchanting library, a theatrical drawing-room with a giant tiger’s head, not to mention a lemon grove landing with a cocktail cupboard and Champagne hatch.
Split over 4 storeys, this new 150 capacity venue is the ultimate house party. With 8 different rooms you can chill in the kitchen, party in the bathroom or book in at the library, with each space beautifully curated to create a bespoke soiree. Exclusive hire of the whole venue is available with a range of optional extras including burlesque in the bedroom, a magician in the library or singing with a queen in the bath tub. It promises to be the ultimate party pad.
