Hampton Court Palace must be one of the most famous venues in England and one of the most stunning to host your event.
We’ve all grown up with the tales of Henry VIII and his wives and probably visited Hampton Court Palace at some point in our lives. Imagine however if you could stay there after the tourists have left and experience the history and glamour just for yourself and your guests by hosting an event there; how magical it would be. Recently on a beautiful autumn day we were given a tour of all the event spaces and when we say all of the spaces, well we were blown away by the multitude of spaces and options Hampton Court venue hire offers.
Set within 65 acres of beautiful gardens, Hampton Court Palace has echoed with the sounds of celebration and feasting for over 500 years.
Known as Henry VIII’s ‘pleasure palace’, follow in the tradition of lavish celebrations by hosting your own event here and experience the grand state rooms, sweeping staircases, cobbled courtyards, gorgeous gardens and some hidden spaces too, in one of the grandest palaces ever built. Every room is dripping in history and this is your chance to create some fabulous memories of your own.
Hampton Court venue hire is incredibly flexible so it’s perfect for impressive banquets, weddings, award dinners and receptions with the Great Hall and the Garden Room being the main spaces for these large events. However, we were surprised and delighted to discover that intimate dinners are also possible; particularly suited for this is William II’s King’s Eating Room, a gorgeous space overlooking the Privy Garden – but it’s the small & perfectly formed Little Banqueting House that stole our heart with its views of the gardens and Hampton Court Palace.
Alongside the prestigious rooms there are opportunities to make use of other rooms. You could welcome your guests in the Tudor Kitchens where they could sip drinks and mingle around the fire – perfect for a winter evening – and there is also an opportunity to finish your evening in the Undercroft, originally Henry VIII’s beer cellar, and take inspiration from the Tudors love of dancing and drinking – though you might want to substitute ales with cocktails!
Here at Evolve Events we work with some of the most prestigious, unusual and new venues available and offer a venue finding service and would be delighted to arrange venue viewings. Discover some more of our favourite venues for events.
