Soho In The City
Soho comes to the City with the Ned, the latest in their luxury member clubs. Providing a range of event spaces for hire, including a rooftop swimming pool for summer along with the 220 capacity Tapestry Room, featuring walnut panelling, crystal chandeliers and a striking 1920s tapestry that wraps around the upper walls.
Rolling into town and hopefully bringing summer with it is Brixton Beach with its seaside vibes. Opening in May it promises to be bigger and better than ever before with cocktails, street food, live music and a real life beach so you won’t need to take the train to the coast anymore to feel the sand beneath your feet.
A taste of the country
We’ve long been fans of Petersham Nurseries and are delighted to see that this year they will be transforming the Floral Court in Covent Garden into a lifestyle destination that celebrates nature, seasonality and slow living just like the original with two restaurants promised along with a home and garden shop, deli, wine cellar and florist.
Float your boat
The Good Hotel is a floating building which will reside in London for the next five years; this submersible barge with a laid back vibe and minimalist industrial décor has been bought from Amsterdam to the Royal Victoria Docks and will provide a number of meeting spaces for up to 120 for drinks and a rooftop with impressive views.
