Queen of Hoxton
This summer, Queen of Hoxton’s rooftop will be transformed into the secret den of the Luchadores (lady wrestlers). Taking inspiration from the lively fiestas and vividly coloured sun-drenched streets back-streets of San Christabel in Mexico, you can expect tacos, tequila and giant frozen Margaritas.
Marking its 28th year, National Doughnut Week is back again celebrating the delicious treat and raising money for The Children’s Trust. Bakeries all over the capital are planning to get involved, as well as plenty of cafes, coffee shops, schools and colleges.
Belgravia In Bloom
Belgravia in Bloom transforms Belgravia with a series of floral installations, unique displays and special events. Coinciding with The RHS Chelsea Flower Show, Belgravia’s theme is the ‘The Language of Flowers,’ which invites visitors to discover the secret meaning behind every flower.
The skylight rooftop is back with their new rooftop launching in east London. With a list of stellar cocktails, this summer the rooftop will be transforming into an urban lawn club in the sky. Guests can enjoy croquet, cocktails and street food against the 360º backdrop of the city skyline.
War of the Worlds
War of the Worlds is bought to life with immersive theatre, virtual reality, augmented reality, holograms and other cutting-edge technology in a multi-sensory adventure by dotdotdot; giving audiences the chance to live through the Martian invasion of 1898.
The BBQ Club, brainchild of pop-up king Jimmy Garcia, have plans to build a giant deck along the South Bank. White picket fences will surround private picnic areas, complete with a lawn, parasol, deckchairs, and beanbags. They also come equipped with essential summer games, offering the ultimate festival feel.
Taking place in London this month, Margarita Rumble is a bottomless festival that pits top bars and mixologists against each other to find the UK’s best tequila cocktail. The festival is split into 2 hour sessions where guests can enjoy bottomless margaritas and vote on their all-time favourite.
Immersive dining experts Funicular are back again for another show, which takes audiences back to 1930s London. Passengers will board the luxury train carriage, enjoy a four-course meal curated by MasterChef champion and try to solve the mysterious disappearance of the world’s largest cut diamond.
Taking inspiration from the tropics, where beach meets jungle, Neverland at Fulham Beach is returning this summer. The vibrant indoor and outdoor space will transport guests to a lush and colourful summer paradise, where everyone can eat, play, dance and drink the summer away.
